The Buderim Lions has a demonstrated committment to ourlocal young people and schools via:
- Lions International Youth of the Year, Sunshine Coast Level,
- the “Safe Walk to School” (weekly walks for Buderim and Chancellor Primary Schools),
- annual donations to 3 local schools of cash to help those families who are strucggling with the cost of living and school needs (distributed via the “Chappy” in each school).
In addition we take on various mini projects from time to time including, the construction of “Chappy’s Garden” at the Buderim Mountain State School. This space allows the school Chaplain to engage with children in a comforting environment.
